Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been announced as the first international ambassador of UK children's charity Barnardo's.

The Sultan star, who has his own charitable trust in India called Being Human - The Salman Khan Foundation, commented 'My foundation is a lot younger than Barnardo’s and is thousands of miles away but we share the same goal. We are all working tirelessly to help improve the lives of the underprivileged and vulnerable children in our native countries. This is why I was so delighted to be asked to be Barnardo’s first international ambassador'.
